A national education pathway
SENI provides an existing framework and public information base from which to develop a bounded first cohort. Its eight components are school management systems, educator development, virtual academies and blended learning, digital education resources, teacher laptops, family device access, school computer laboratories, and infrastructure and technical support. Activation remains subject to institutional agreements and readiness.
The Benue relationship
Smart Benue Initiative is the Benue state reference. BenSEP sits within Smart Benue and provides the education pathway in Benue. Its relationship with SENI connects education standards and learning across the national and state levels while retaining the state programme’s local identity and responsibilities. Smart Benue’s existing relationship with Innovate Benue and CIE Benue remains visible.
Begin with readiness
